Nice places in the UK for a short honeymoon?

Question by sonia: Nice places in the UK for a short honeymoon?
Hi,

Me and my boyfriend are living in Manchester. We are getting married next month, (end october) but because of work we cant take a proper holiday for a honeymoon, which we will be going to the Maldives later in Feb. So at least we want to take a short break now, we’ve just got 3 nights max. I’ve not seen much of the Uk.
Can anyone suggest a nice place to visit? Nice, romantic, quiet, countryside, spa etc.. I thought of Bath or Edinburgh.
I would also appreciate personal experience at any specific hotel.
By the way we have a budget of around £500! travelling by train.
Thank you!
